What face graphics I used

I am ordinary coder, not professional graphic designer, or even talented amateur.

Three pictures on the top are created by me, with great difficulty. As you probably noticed basic shape is similar, only details and accessories differentiate them.
The rest consist of nineteenth-century or early twenty-century portraits which I assume are freely available.
Here is a list:
  • Corneille Max (1875-1924) - Bildnis eines Mädchens (1911)
  • William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825-1905) - Daisies (1894)
  • Friedrich Wilhelm Schadow (1789-1862) - Portrait of Felix Schadow (1830)
  • Emile Munier (1840-1895) - Mädchen mit Zwetschgenkorb (1875)
  • William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825-1905) - The Difficult Lesson (1884)
  • Mihael Stroj (1803–1871) - Valentin Krisper (1844)
Pictures are trimmed and compressed to fit as textures.

Enjoy Face Painting! Introduction.

Few days ago I uploaded my first application to Google Play market.

There is no single reason why I focused on this kind of software. Main reason is obvious, my adoration of computer graphics. I wanted to improve my Android development capabilities. I also know how girls, like my daughter Ula, are interested in any art activities (painting, etc.), she was always interested in any face or body painting events in our neighbourhood.

Ula has been quite engaged in production of this application, especially planning, testing.
I spent quite a lot of time developing this piece of software, I think now it is consistent and useful, while I still have a lot of ideas what could be added to improve user experience.

My fist post

I created this blog to write a bit about software that I create, my side projects, especially those that are published to external users, maybe you.
My name is Marek Borzyszkowski, I am programmer from Poland, every day I create more or less boring software, but time after business hours (at least partly) I spend on developing projects which are intended to be both interesting for my and for people around me.
I like computer graphic, developing mobile software, so my target for next months and years is developing real-time software for mobile platforms (mainly Android), something between games and simulators. My daughter have a lot of ideas what I can create for her, so I expect years are much more expected time frame.
